Around 100 school pupils take part in Russian language history contest in Penza

Penza, 8 April 2017. PenzaNews. Around 100 school pupils from 24 educational institutions of the city took part in the 3rd open Russian language history contest, which was held at the department of history and philology of Penza State University on Saturday, April 8.

Participants of the contest "Language is the history of people" dedicated to Cyril and Methodius had to solve a number of linguistic tasks. Pupils of the 7-11th forms had to translate an Old Russian text, to give historical comments to different facts of the Russian language, as well as to do a creative task.
The results of the contest will be published on VKontakte social network in the group of entrants of the department of history and philology.
Winners and teachers who prepared them will be awarded on April 28 at 13.30.
