Penza school pupil becomes prizewinner of All-Russian robotic contest

Penza, 26 June 2017. PenzaNews. As a result of the All-Russian robotic contest, the final stage of which was held in University Innopolis in Tatarstan, Daniil Dyachkov from Penza was awarded in the special nomination "Creativity" for the best study of the project topic.

Altogether 11 people from the Penza region, who had been selected from 150 participants basing on the result of a regional stage of the contest, took part in the competition.

Winners of the contest in University Innopolis will take part in a federal educational camp that will be held at the premises of the IT university.

Basing on the results of the camp, in September, the jury will announce the composition of the Russian national team, which will go to Costa Rica to take part in the World Robotic Championship.

The overall topic of the robotic contest in 2017 around the world was "Sustainable development".

During two days, the young robot technicians demonstrated their skills. In particular, they showed how to relieve traffic jams on roads with the help of technology, as well as to remove the threat of greenhouse gases, and how to make courtyards brighter and cleaner using mirrors, the press service of University Innopolis reports.
