Penza, 25 September 2017. PenzaNews. Anna Makarova, who teaches the Russian language and literature at school No. 1 of the village Mokshan, represents the Penza region at the contest "Teacher of the Year of Russia", which takes place in Sochi.

85 teachers from all regions of the country take part in it. Most candidates for victory are teachers of the Russian language and literature – 16 people, as well as teachers of history, law and social science – 14 representatives.

Next Tuesday, on September 26, Anna Makarova will present her methodological seminar to the jury, and on September 28 – a competitive lesson.

The competitions will be held at the premises of Sochi school No. 100.

The name of the best teacher of Russia will be named at the State Kremlin Palace on Thursday, October 5, the website of the Regional Development Institute of the Penza region informs.
