"We will continue to invest in renovation of schools and kindergartens," he said at the meeting with heads of municipal educational institutions and teachers, which was held on Thursday, December 14.

The mayor noted that according to the decision of the governor Ivan Belozertsev, the municipality's credit debt to the budget had decreased by 973 million roubles.

According to Victor Kuvaytsev, due to this reason it became possible to attract borrowed funds so that educational institutions could pay for debt instruments for children's meals, repair, and services of resource supplying companies.

The head of the city administration also touched upon the issue of hot meals for school pupils encouraging improving the system.

In addition, he paid special attention to the issue of safety of children during the New Year holidays.

"It is necessary to ensure that children have something to do during the winter holidays, to make them and their parents involved in mass activities. We must not fail to take into account any child," Victor Kuvaytsev stressed.

As it was reported by the press service of the mayor's office, the head of the Penza administration thanked those present for their work and awarded the best teachers with honorary diplomas.
