Penza, 28 December 2017. PenzaNews. The regional professional skills championship WorldSkills Russia will be held in the Penza region on January 22-26. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education of the region.

During the event it is planned to conduct a vocational guidance game with school pupils called Navigator, which will allow them to get acquainted with a proposed profession, to see and to work with modern equipment that is used not only in educational process but also at enterprises of the country, to acquire necessary knowledge and skills for making their professional career.

Competition tasks will include contests in 17 areas.

They include welding technologies, restaurant service, painting and decorative works, brick laying. In addition, best professionals in baking and confectionery business, entrepreneurship, graphic and web design will be identified.

The best young specialists in preschool education, physical education, sport as well as teachers of the elementary school will also be chosen. In addition, the contest will include competitions in operation of agricultural equipment, railway transport control, repair and maintenance of cars, laboratory medical analysis, as well as medical and social care.
