Penza region to receive 1 billion roubles for reconstruction of schools over three years

Penza, 14 February 2018. PenzaNews. More than 1 billion roubles will be allocated to the Penza region from the federal budget for construction of new schools in the next three years. A corresponding agreement on granting subsidies in 2018-2020 was concluded between the regional government and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

It is expected that one educational organization - a school for 660 pupils in the Shuist neighbourhood - will be commissioned this year.

In 2020 it is planned to build a school for 1,100 pupils in Eco-quarter in the Arbekovo beighbourhood, the press service of the regional government reports.
