Penza, 26 October 2018. PenzaNews. Security of only three Penza schools is provided by private companies and departments of independent security service in a way that is stipulated by law. This was reported by head of the city department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Lysov at the 50th regular session of the City Duma on Friday, October 26.

He specified that these were gymnasiums No. 44 and No. 1 as well as school No. 70.

"The requirements are not fulfilled in 61 schools; considering their branches – in 85," the head of the city department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

According to Vladimir Lysov, the functions of security in these institutions are performed by front-door security and watchmen who are not properly trained.
