Penza, 28 March 2019. PenzaNews. The regional department of Rospotrebnadzor has revealed two facts of delivery of counterfeit dairy products to educational institutions of the Penza region since the beginning of 2018-2019 academic year.

According to the press service of the office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Penza region, in one case an organization of vocational education received pasteurized milk that did not meet the requirements for fatty acid composition, in the other case – butter, where the proportion of milk fat was violated and phytosterols were found, was delivered to a school.

The department said that during this period 33 samples had been examined for falsification, that is, violations were found in about 6% of them.

"The identified counterfeit products were produced in the territory of the Moscow region, in connection with which the materials of the inspection were sent to the office of Rospotrebnadzor at the place of production so that measures are taken," the press service explained.
