They were given special attention at the celebratory assembly on the occasion of the holiday.

"Eight classes is really great!" governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev noted greeting the children, their parents and teachers.

He stressed that the school made up of two buildings, which are 20 years old, have excellent teaching staff, and students show success in education, sport and creativity.

"I wish you to get the knowledge you come to school for," the head of the region added.
Ivan Belozertsev also said that at the request of school director Yuri Proshkin, a modern bus will be presented to the institution.

In addition, on Knowledge Day the school received a multimedia projector and sports equipment as a gift.

In response, Yury Proshkin thanked the authorities of Penza and the region for their attention to education.
