Penza, 23 September 2020. PenzaNews. A solemn event dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Penza College of Agriculture and Industry, which had been created as a school of gardening in 1820, was held at the regional philharmonic hall on Wednesday, September 23.

Before the start, guests got acquainted with an exhibition presented in the foyer.

One part of the exposition was devoted to the history of the institution, while the other introduced visitors to the areas in which students were being trained.

According to the press service of the Penza region government, 990 people receive education at the college that has 13 education programmes in the field of agriculture.

According to the Ministry of Education of the region, on the occasion of the anniversary, the college received certificates for the purchase of a bus for training drivers, a KamAZ truck with a trailer and some new equipment.
