Penza, 2 March 2021. PenzaNews. Twenty workshops equipped according to WorldSkills standards were opened in Penza region in two years. This was stated by Governor Ivan Belozertsev.

“Under the Education National Project modern workshops based on WorldSkills standards appeared in Penza region. [...] Just in two years 20 such workshops were created,” he said during the plenary session The Role of WorldSkills Russia Standards in the Implementation of National Project Activities in Penza Region, held at the regional government on Tuesday, March 2.

Ivan Belozertsev adds that new workshops will be opened at Penza College of Architecture and Construction in 2021.

“Federal and regional budgets were used to purchase modern equipment, which is now used to train staff for the IT sector, agriculture and the service sector. We allocated about 110 million roubles for this purpose,” said the Governor.
