Penza, 13 September 2021. PenzaNews. Almost 180 million roubles are needed to modernise school canteens in Penza region. This was announced by acting minister of education of the region Alexander Voronkov.

“Penza region needs nearly 180 million roubles to upgrade the material and technical resources of canteens, including 120 million roubles for capital repairs,” he said, reporting on hot meals for children in school canteens at an operational meeting held at the regional government on Monday, September 13.

According to Alexander Voronkov, a monitoring shows that 254 out of 308 general educational organisations – legal entities – need to renovate the material and technical resources of their canteens, 151 institutions need current repairs, and 56 – major repairs.
