“Any issues discovered during inspections must be rectified within the next day. The area administration will be held responsible,” he said after reports of responsible officials after the second weekly street inspection held on Lunacharskovo, Dzerzhinskovo, Gertsena, Zhemchuzhnaya, Tolstova and Ukhtomskovo streets on Saturday, January 30.
The mayor also demanded to have Communal Affairs Department representatives at all meetings of area administrations staff with communal management companies, so that the former would have first-hand knowledge on current issues and could quickly form plans to fix them.
During the meeting, the officials noted an improvement in yard cleaning, yet said that certain issues remained – particularly with roof icicle removal and car parking habits that obstruct road cleaning machines.
In conclusion of the meeting, Victor Kuvatysev praised the positive trend in yard improvement, and once again instructed the officials responsible to continue intensive monitoring of communal management organizations and their responsibilities for yard cleaning.
The next week’s yard improvement inspection will be held in the Oktyabrsky city area, says the press service of Penza city administration.
