Penza, 9 March 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region crews must repair the potholes on regional roads in two shifts, the governor Ivan Belozertsev ordered during the videoconference meeting with administration heads of city areas and municipalities on Wednesday, March 9.

“I would like to draw the attention of heads of municipalities towards the management and weak performance in communal improvement. The spring came early, the snow has thawed, the roads opened, and the flaws opened too – which is particularly true for big cities,” said the head of the region.
According to Ivan Belozertsev, “we must not wait until May and June.”

“We must patch the potholes actively, and do that right now,” he stressed.

As the governor pointed out, the Penza repair crews are already on the streets, yet there are still “too many potholes and cracks.”

Because of that, he instructed the Penza city mayor Victor Kuvaytsev to increase the number of repair crews and machines they use.
