Penza, 18 April 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region will double the numbers of repair crews to fix the broken roads in need of urgent repairs, announced the head of the regional Construction Ministyr Alexander Grishaev during the regional government meeting session on Monday, April 18.

According to him, deputy heads of municipalities took the responsibility upon them with written acknowledgment during a meeting held on Friday, April 15.

“In average, there were around 90 repair crews for a total of up to 400 people working on Sunday. In municipalities, were were up to 40 crews for a total of up to 120 people, which is clearly not enough,” the minister pointed out.

These measures will help to complete the majority of pothole repairs by May 15, Alexander Grishaev added.

“There is a lot of work to be done,” he concluded.
