“Firstly – for breaking rules of municipal improvements, secondly – repeated violation committed within a year, and thirdly – failure of excavation works fulfilment,” he said during the regular State Duma commission meeting on the local self-government and control of the departments and authorities of the local self-government held on Wednesday, November 16.

Penal sanctions for individuals are planned to increase to 1,000-4,000 rubles; for authorities – to 10,000-15,000 rubles, for organizations – to 20,000-50,000 rubles.

“We think that this action will increase responsibility, create a good system of preventive measures and replenish the city budget,” Yuri Ilyin noted.

This initiative was fully supported. It is expected that the document stating amount of penalties will be prepared by the next meeting, the press service of the State Duma reports.
