“There is much snow on the roofs of houses and institutions. They are not fenced around, and the snow is not removed from the roofs. These icicles of 1-1.5 metres length are dangling over the heads of the residents,” he said at the action meeting in the regional government on Monday, January 9.

Ivan Belozertsev urged the Penza authorities to pay attention to this problem before a tragic event happens.

“We had cases when people died, including in the city of Penza, that is why pay the most careful attention to this issue,” the governor said.
