Heat supply to all schools and kindergartens restored in Penza

Penza, 28 January 2017. PenzaNews. Heat supply to schools, kindergartens and institutions of additional education was restored in full. This was reported by the press service of the mayor's office on Saturday morning, January 28.

"According to data, at 6.00, 23 houses in the Sever area remained without heating. The head of the Penza administration Victor Kuvaytsev checked the progress of restoration of heat supply to these houses. Nine teams worked at night and conducted works on warming intra-area networks and launching heat to houses," the city administration added.

The mayor's office specified that the average temperature in living areas ranges from +15ºС to +18ºС.

"Victor Kuvaytsev ordered to increase the number of maintenance crews, to appoint responsible persons for each house and to carry out flat inspections in this area," the Penza administration summed up.

As PenzaNews reported earlier, on Thursday, January 26, a part of roof collapsed at thermal power plant No. 1 resulting in the death of one person. A criminal case was opened on this fact.

On the same day two damages of the transmission network, 700mm and 800mm in diameter, were registered. Almost 500 houses were left without heat.

According to the company "T Plus", it was possible to restore heating supply to most houses but new damages on the main pipelines occurred.

On Friday afternoon, January 27, the governor Ivan Belozertsev signed an order about introducing emergency mode due to power failure.
