Officials headed by mayor start Saturday morning with cleaning wasteland
Penza, 25 March 2017. PenzaNews. The Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev and his deputy on urban economy Yuri Ilyin took part in a community work day in the area Sever in the morning on March 25.
Among those who helped to clean the wasteland behind the trade centre "Domino" there were also heads of city areas and municipal enterprises.
Those who arrived to the place of cleaning, received rubber gloves and a garbage plastic bag, in which they had to collect paper, plastic and dry twigs.
Judging by photos posted on the website of the Penza mayor's office, the authorities worked coordinated helping each other.
As a result, the area located in the immediate vicinity of multistory buildings changed greatly – it was cleaned from rubbish, dry grass and bushes.
Commenting on the results of the work, Victor Kuvaytsev noted that the month-long action on Penza improvement is in process and each Friday was announced a sanitary day.
"At present, almost all city institutions cleaned their territories. It is time to start cleaning adjacent and attached territories. Moreover, they should not leave such vacant lots as this one unattended. The city should be cleaned," he emphasized.
