The head of the Penza administration Victor Kuvaytsev and the deputy director of the city housing and communal services department Denis Leontyev inspected progress of work conducted within the framework of the priority project "Safe roads of high quality" on Sunday, June 25.

In particular, they visited Krasnova street, where workers already carried out milling of the road surface and installed additional drain-water inlets. At present they are laying kerbstones.

The mayor urged the contractor company to increase the pace of work and to pay attention to the level of wells.

"The parallel Kalinina street was also included in the programme. Preparatory works started there. Thus, people will not be able to get to the city centre and back unimpeded. The repairs must be finished on time without violating the terms of the contract," Victor Kuvaytsev noted.

He also inspected 40 Let Oktyabrya street.

"When conducting repairs on the road, it will be necessary to carry out work on water drainage so that the residents can easily get to the pedestrian crossing, as well as to join the road to the federal highway and to arrange a drive to the private sector," the press service of the Penza mayor's office quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
