Penza mayor demands that pavement repairs intensified
Penza, 15 August 2017. PenzaNews. As a result of the city inspection conducted on Tuesday, August 15, the head of the Penza administration Victor Kuvaytsev ordered that pavement repairs are intensified.
During the inspection of street and road network objects, he made a number of observations. In particular, in Kirova street, he made a comment regarding the junction of the pavement and the carriageway, and in Kommunisticheskaya street – regarding replacement of a storm drainage grating.
Victor Kuvaytsev also ordered to solve the issue of a retaining wall next to the building of the central post office, which is in an improper condition.
"Participation in the federal project ['Safe roads of high quality'] has allowed us improving most city roads. The main volume of works planned for this year has been completed. It is necessary, without lowering the speed of highway repairs, to pay attention to pavements in order to provide residents of the city with modern and comfortable pedestrian connections. Contracting organizations should quickly meet their obligations under the contracts," the press service of the Penza administration quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
