Sergei Volkov remains satisfied with cleanness of Penza
Penza, 23 September 2017. PenzaNews. The acting head of the Penza administration Sergei Volkov remained satisfied with the state of improvement and cleanness in the city as a result of the inspection he carried out on Saturday, September 23, in the morning. This was reported by the press service of the mayor's office.
"It is noticeable that the work is conducted every day and that much attention is given to putting things in order, but we are not allowed to slow down," he noted.
At the same time, when visiting the Pervomaisky and Zheleznodorozhny areas of the city he noticed some shortcomings in cleaning of the territories, in particular tall grass, which he ordered to mow down.
"Light posts along the central streets are cleaned from unauthorized advertising more often than those in small streets, though due attention must be given to them as well. You should intensify work in this area," Sergei Volkov explained.
He ordered the vice mayor Yuri Ilyin to take care that construction waste that had remained after replacement of traffic lights was removed and that temporary road signs that were no longer needed were dismantled. In addition, Sergei Volkov ordered him to arrange cleaning of protective barriers on the Baumansky overpass and Ternovsky bridge.
