Penza, 3 October 2017. PenzaNews. A mixture of salt and sand will not be used for removal of snow from roads in Penza during the winter period. This was reported by the mayor Victor Kuvaytsev.

During an operational meeting in the mayor's office on Monday, October 2, he explained that it was planned to install a snow melting machine in Penza in order to reduce the amount of removed snow.

In addition, according to Victor Kuvaytsev, it was also planned to lease snow-removal equipment, which had already proved its effectiveness in urban settings, and to use it for cleaning sidewalks from snow.
