Penza, 6 October 2017. PenzaNews. An agreement on assessment of condition of bridges was reached between the head of the Penza administration Victor Kuvaytsev and the general director of the LLC "VolgaProektStroiMost" Valery Kotov at a working meeting on Friday, October 6. This was reported by the press service of the mayor's office.

"Aware of the necessity, together with the governor we decided to repair the bridge structures one after another without waiting for emergency situations. Taking into account large amount of funds required as well as the capacity situation, we plan to repair one object per year," Victor Kuvaytsev said.

The mayor reminded that repairs of the Sverdlovsky bridge were nearing completion, after which it was planned to repair the Bakuninsky bridge.

An assessment of the condition of the structures is required to determine the further order of the repairs.

The company "VolgaProektStroiMost", which will act as an expert, previously took part in designing the Baumansky bridge and other objects within the city.
