Belozertsev visits military settlement, development of which estimated at 200 mln roubles

Penza, 8 October 2017. PenzaNews. The governor Ivan Belozertsev inspected the area of the military settlement near Zapadnaya Polyana in Penza, for development of which 193 million roubles will be allocated from the federal budget. In addition, the Penza branch of the Army General Khrulev Military Academy of Material and Technical Supply plans to add its own funds to this amount of money for carrying out landscaping works.

"I will give an order – and you will be advised on how to do the works nicely: how to cut crowns of the trees and level the lawn. You should take care of every detail, otherwise some trifles might spoil everything," the head of the region said turning to the head of the Penza artillery engineering institute Alexander Tsaplyuk, whom he suggested asking Leonid Ioffe, main architect of the region, for help.
Ivan Belozertsev also drew attention to the necessity to equip asphalt paths with storm-water drain because the improvement project provides for installation of storm drainage system in the territory of the whole military settlement.
Speaking about planned works that include replacement of light supports, fences, and gates in the territory of the institution, asphalting of roads, curbstone repairs, improvement of footpaths, paving of sidewalks, lining of pedestals with ceramic porcelain tiles, as well as installation of small architectural forms, the governor noted that the volume of the works was impressive.
"It's a lot of work. The main task is to carry out the works on time and to have a high-quality result," the press service of the regional government quotes Ivan Belozertsev.
According to the official portal of procurement, the electronic auction for choosing a contractor to carry out works on improvement of the territory of the military settlement started in Penza in July, 2017.
As a result, the initial (maximum) price was reduced from 194 million roubles to 193 million 30 thousand roubles. The contract was concluded with the LLC Avtodoroga.
The works must be finished by December 1, 2017.
