Penza mayor gets acquainted with European standards of waste recycling in Italy

Penza, 17 October 2017. PenzaNews. During a working visit to the Italian town Brescia, the head of the Penza administration Victor Kuvaytsev and the president of the association of Penza region manufacturers Oleg Shapovalov visited a plant of the company A2A, which is a leader among suppliers of heat in the country.

In particular, they focused on European standards of waste recycling.

"Penza has some issues concerning waste disposal. Even though they are not crucial at the moment, we must plan construction of a waste recycling plant," the mayor explained.

According to him, it is planed that the specialists who developed the project of such an enterprise in the town of Brescia should visit Penza in order to assess the conditions and formulate their proposals, the press service of the city administration reports.

As it was previously reported, the delegation of the Penza region had arrived in Italy on Tuesday, October 17. In addition to officials, the delegation also included heads of industrial enterprises and organizations.

It is expected that the representatives of the region will take part in the 10th Eurasian Economic Forum.
