Penza, 28 November 2017. PenzaNews. Cold water supply was cut off in seventeen houses, two kindergartens and one school in the Shuist neighbourhood of Penza due to a communal incident on November 28.

As it was reported by the press service of the City Duma, it was a pipe with the diameter of 500mm that had been damaged. The damage occurred in the territory of a private house. At the moment workers carry out stripping, which will be followed by repairs.

The cut-off affected people living in Kolkhoznaya, Meditsinskaya, Druzhby, Klary Tsetkin and 1 Proezd Dimitrova streets.

Twelve people and seven units of machinery were involved in emergency treatment operations.

The head of the city Valery Savelyev arrived at the place of the incident and encouraged workers of communal services to do their best to restore water supply as soon as possible.

According to the deputy chief of municipal administration for city governing and emergency situations Alexander Deryabin, currently water is delivered to the neighbourhood from other areas.
