Snow melting equipment Vulcan-60M, which is currently operating in the territory of the municipal unitary enterprise Penzadormost, is planned to be located in Libersona street under the Leonidovsky overpass. This was reported by the director of the enterprise Yuri Parastaev.

According to him, thawed water will merge into treatment facilities under the bridge.

Yuri Parastaev noted that the snow melting machine had been delivered to Penza from Izhevsk.

"It has a capacity of 60 cubic metres per hour," the director of Penzadormost said.

He explained that the principle of the machine operation is simple – hot water delivered under pressure leads to the melting of snow.

As it was reported before, the municipal unitary enterprise Penzadormost had purchased the snow melting equipment Vulcan-60M in December 2017.

According to the data of the public procurement website, its cost is 2,930,000 roubles.
