Penza, 31 January 2018. PenzaNews. 94 units of equipment fought against consequences of snowfall that befell Penza on the night of Wednesday, January 31. This was reported by the director of the municipal unitary enterprise Penzadormost Yuri Parastaev at a meeting in the mayor's office.

"We carried out sweeping and removal of snow. In the early morning hours before traffic started we processed the road with deicing materials," he explained.

Yuri Parastaev added that 3,500 cubic metres of snow had been removed from Penza streets during a day.

As it was reported by the press service of the mayor's office with a reference to data of the municipal unitary enterprise "Zelenoe Khozyaystvo Goroda Penzy", 110 workers and 15 units of machinery are engaged in cleaning pedestrian crossings, Moskovskaya street, public gardens and other green areas.
