"This will make our city not only clean but also more attractive," Victor Kuvaytsev said at the meeting in the mayor's office on Wednesday, April 11.
He also noted that many residents started to maintain uniformity in colour scheme.
The mayor set a task for district administrations to clarify the scope of work necessary for restoration and putting in order fences and railings.
"Special attention should be given to a private sector. Of course it is impossible to force anyone but you can talk to house owners and encourage them to start spring cleaning of their property if they have not done so before," Victor Kuvaytsev noted.
He also instructed to provide assistance in restoration of fences to those who does not have enough funds, the press service of the Penza administration informs.
