"A holiday is coming and we should do our best to make the city look good," he said at the meeting in the mayor's office on Saturday, April 28.

Victor Kuvaytsev said that the city community work day, which had to be cancelled due to rain, was postponed to the next week.

Among the works to be done in the first place the head of the Penza administration mentioned painting of the military machinery installed near Prospekt Pobedy street.

"Fences should be painted and the trees along streets of the city should be whitewashed. Special attention should be paid to the territories adjacent to the Monument of Labour and Military Glory in Prospekt Pobedy street. All works must be finished until May 1," he added.

As it was reported by the press service of the mayor's office, in addition Victor Kuvaytsev ordered to draw up a plan of works for restoration of fences.
