Penza mayor: Pedestrian connections must be complete

Penza, 21 July 2018. PenzaNews. Head of the Penza administration Victor Kuvaytsev is convinced that the works on repair of sidewalks must be implemented comprehensively so that minor shortcomings do not spoil the impression of the residents and guests of the city.

"It is important that all pedestrian connections should be complete" he said during the off-site meeting held on Sunday, July 22.
For example, the mayor drew attention of subordinates to the need to complete the junctions of a new sidewalk at the intersection of Karla Marksa and Kirova streets with walkways and shopping facilities as well as ordered to work out the issue of water drainage in detail.
"We need to eliminate the situation when rain flows together with lawn land stream down to the roadway," Victor Kuvaytsev said.
He also ordered to repair a retaining wall.
In addition, according to the mayor in the central part of Penza it is necessary to continue the repair of sidewalks in Volodarskogo, Slavy, Sovetskaya, and Pushkina streets as well as to create additional parking spaces, the press service of the city administration reports.
