Penza, 17 December 2018. PenzaNews. Over 20 vehicles will remove waste in Penza daily starting January 1, 2019. This was said by general director of LLC Improvement and Cleaning Administration Andrei Arkhipov.

"Three contests took place. Three carriers were selected. They had worked here, in Penza, before. [...] There is enough machinery. [...] Most vehicles are two or three years old and about 15 vehicles are new. 32 routes are going to be organized in Penza," he specified at the press conference held in the City Hall on Monday, December 17.

Andrei Arkhipov added that as the regional operator for dealing with municipal solid waste in the northern area LLC Improvement and Cleaning Administration will not be currently engaged in separate waste collection.

"Separate collection in the whole Russian Federation is still under discussion. There are no legislative norms or anything of the kind. According to our information, it will be introduced in 2020 or 2021," he said.

In turn vice mayor Yury Ilyin said that LLC Penzavtorsyrie Group will continue to service separate waste collection grounds existing in the city.

"It takes waste to its production facilities and processes it there and then sells. [...] The company does not bring waste to a landfill," he noted.
