Penza utilities fined 1.5 million roubles for poor quality water

Penza, 22 March 2019. PenzaNews. 176 fines in the amount of more than 1.5 million roubles were imposed in the Penza region in 2018 in connection with violations in the field of drinking water supply. This was stated in a message spread by the press service of the regional department of the Federal Service on Surveillance for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being (Rospotrebnadzor) on Friday, March 22.

83 of them in the amount of 830,000 roubles were issued against legal entities.

According to the department, these were the Gorvodokanal of Penza, a number of municipal enterprises of the Bessonovsky, Penza, and Luninsky areas, and also other organizations.
