Standards for the improvement of adjacent territories, providing for the creation of children's playgrounds and sports grounds, as well as multifunctional recreation areas for people of different ages, should be fixed at the legislative level. Such an opinion was expressed by chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin during his visit to Penza on Saturday, July 27.

"When designing neighbourhoods and building complexes, we need to solve social issues so that there is a kindergarten, a school, a clinic, a hospital and shops in the immediate vicinity. In addition, there should also be a chance for people to go outside and relax," he said during a visit to the residential complex Favorit built by the Risan construction group.

Vyacheslav Volodin added that the format, which does not provide opportunities for family recreation near new buildings, will be a thing of the past.

"It's not about selling housing, it's about being in a good mood, getting out and resting with kids. This is not just a modern approach, it will be used everywhere, and it is a trend in the world," the press service of the lower chamber of Parliament quotes the speaker.
