Penza, 17 August 2019. PenzaNews. Repair of roads in 25 yards out of 35 ones included in the programme aimed at creation of comfortable urban environment was completed in Penza. This was said by mayor Victor Kuvaytsev.

According to him, other facilities are under repair.

"We inspected improvement works in Mira Street at buildings 33, 37, 47, 49. Here, in addition to repairing roads, a children's playground will be installed by the decision of the residents. Citizens take part in co-financing of the construction works in the amount of 5% of the total amount of funds," the head of the Penza administration wrote on his Facebook profile on Saturday, August 17.

He added that soil for lawns was brought to houses 25 and 27 in Rachmaninova Street, which was also visited by the authorities.

"Residents asked to fence off the playground and replace a few playground elements. Housing and Public Utilities Department reports that equipment for children's complexes is on the way to Penza. A contractor for the installation of benches and bins has been identified. In the near future, this type of work will begin in the yards, too," Victor Kuvaytsev explained.
