Over 8,000 garbage containers planned to be installed in Penza region in 2020

Penza, 22 August 2019. PenzaNews. Over 8,000 containers for the collection of solid municipal waste are planned to be installed in settlements of the Penza region in 2020. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

It is expected that more than 4,000 container sites will be equipped in addition to existing ones.

The work is planned to be conducted in 124 settlements. Subsidies in the amount of 291 million roubles will be allocated for this purpose.

According to official data, currently the collection and accumulation of solid municipal waste in the Penza region is carried out with the use of 12,508 containers.
