"Citizens have fair comments," he said at a meeting at the city hall on Wednesday, November 6.
According to Andrei Luzgin, residents themselves often store household waste in places that are not designed for this purpose.
"It ends up with citizens starting to throw garbage out of windows in a pile. As a result, it simply hangs on trees," the mayor added.
Andrei Luzgin instructed heads of area administrations to analyse the situation in the territories under their jurisdiction, ensure cleanliness of the municipal land, as well as encourage the management companies to restore order in their area of responsibility.
"Sufficient funds are collected from citizens. At least this money is enough for cleaning the territories," he stressed.
