Penza, 8 May 2020. PenzaNews. Ten artesian wells are planned to be overhauled in Penza region in 2020. This was reported by head of the Penza region Communal Affairs and Civil Security Department Mikhail Panyukhin.

According to him, in general, during the year it is planned to carry out reconstruction, overhaul and building of 99 water supply and sanitation facilities, for which 135 million roubles will be allocated from the budget of the Penza region as co-financing.

"In 2020, 93 municipalities take part in the Clean Water and Water Disposal events [under the state programme of Provision of Housing and Public Utilities in Penza Region for 2014-2024]," he specified.

Competition procedures are ongoing to determine contractors, the press service of the regional Communal Affairs and Civil Security Department reports.
