Penza, 22 January 2021. PenzaNews. 6 608 cubic metres of snow were removed from the streets of Penza during the last day. This was stated in a message of the city administration’s press service.

It notes that 100 units of equipment of municipal unitary enterprise Penzadormost were used on the night of Friday, January 22.

“Cleaning and deicing of the road network, sidewalks, bus stops and pedestrian crossings was carried out. Snow was removed from Moskovskaya St., Oktyabrskaya St., Kirova St., Dzerzhinskogo St., Karpinskogo St., Okruzhnaya St., Ternovskogo St., as well as from the Izmailovsky overpass,” the text says.

The message draws attention to the fact that Penza enterprises’ equipment and machinery were also involved in the elimination of the consequences of the snowfall.

It adds that on January 22 the work continues: 78 units of equipment and 73 people from municipal unitary enterprise Penzadormost, as well as over 100 specialists from Zelenoe Khozyaystvo Goroda Penzy are involved.
