Penza, 30 June 2021. PenzaNews. The Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into an appeal regarding water quality in Penza region, which had been made to Russian President Vladimir Putin during his annual Direct Line.

“In a special programme called Direct Line with Vladimir Putin, one of the presenters voiced the question of a resident of Penza region about the poor quality of drinking water. The Penza region Prosecutor’s Office organised a verification of this information,” the regional prosecutor’s office said in a statement.

“If there are grounds, the prosecution authorities will take an exhaustive set of prosecutorial response measures,” the text adds.
