Penza, 25 May 2011. PenzaNews. The 22-year-old resident of Penza is accused of murdering his 19-year old girl friend because of jealousy. According to the investigation on May 14 five people were drinking alcohol in the apartment of a girl, after that young people settled down for the night in one room.

The Senior Media Relations Assistant of Head of Department of Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation in Penza Maria Orlova said: "Seeing the girl in the arms of another man, the defendant stabbed her shoulder with a kitchen knife. From the received wound the victim died in the place of the accident."

According to her words, in the past the attacker was jealous of his girlfriend too, but this time he lost control and fatally wounded her.

Maria Orlova said: "At the moment the young man charged with Part 1, Art. 105 of the Criminal Code "The murder", a preventive measure against him is a detention. The criminal investigation is continuing."
