Penza, 1 July 2011. PenzaNews. An advertising LED screen installed at the fountain area in the center of Penza burned in the night of July 1. According to the preliminary version, the fire was caused by a short circuit.

According to the press-service of the State Emergency Ministry of the Penza region, it was known about the fire on Thursday, June 30 at 23.04. Two fire brigades were immediately sent to the place of incident and filled the construction with water.

The area of the fire was 50 square meters.

The cause of fire will be installed during a special inspection.

"PenzaNews" received a video filmed which a mobile phone by one of the eyewitnesses. It shows the burning fragments of screen and coming of firefighters to the place.
