Penza official was fined 50 thousand roubles for corruption

Penza, 15 July 2011. PenzaNews. The head of information-analytical department of hygiene of food of the centre of sanitary-and-epidemiologic supervision № 59 of Zarechny city of the Penza region Valentine Klopov was condemned for taking bribe and fulfillment of office forgery.
Tatyana Ostrovskaja, the senior assistant of the public prosecutor of the Penza region said: "His official duties included carrying out of professional hygienic preparation and certification of officials and workers of the organizations which activity is connected with manufacture, storage by transportation and realization of food and potable water. Besides, the workers who are engaged in education and training of children, municipal and population consumer services are also had to have certification".
She noticed that Valentine Klopov gave two medical books without necessary medical analyses, and also without hygienic training and certification on knowledge of a sanitary code and rules for monetary compensation 200 or 1000 rubles.
Tatyana Ostrovskaja said: "Besides, the official made office forgery, having brought in the official document obviously false data on delivery of medical analyses, training and certification".
Tatyana Ostrovskaja added that the city court of Zarechny recognized that Valentine Klopov was guilty and appointed punishment in the form of the penalty of 50 thousand rubles and deprived of the right to be engaged in the activity connected with carrying out of certification in official bodies of public health services for a period of 2 years.
