Penza, 18 July 2011. PenzaNews. 446 crimes connected with illegal trafficking of drugs, psychotropic and super potential substances, it was revealed by employees of the Federal Department of the Service of Control of the Illegal Drug Trafficking in the Penza region in the first half of 2011.

According to the head of the department Jury Denisov, 366 crimes are qualified as heavy and especially heavy category, 293 ones are connected with illegal sale of drugs.

Jury Denisov said: "118 crimes were made by a group of persons on preliminary arrangement and by organized groups. Materials of 129 criminal cases are sent to the courts of the Penza region with bills of particulars".

He has noticed that for the last half of the year 15 kg of drugs including 0.5 kg of heroin were withdrawn by the officers of the department.

Jury Denisov added: "From the beginning of year the officers of the department liquidate 40 narco brothels, it is 1.3 times more than the results of the similar period of last year. The most part of brothels were revealed thanks to telephone hotline calls of the citizens".
