Penza, 29 July 2011. PenzaNews. The torrential rain accompanied by strong flaws, led to serious destructions in Penza on Friday, July, 29th. As the result, a lot of trees were beaten down and damaged electric mains. About the Penza  The fallen tree damaged  pig-iron fence of grammar school №1. Strong flaws broke roofs of some kiosks. According to eyewitnesses, a tower crane fell down in Zapadnaya Polyana district. Near GPZ-24 the shop signboard fell onto "Nissan X-Trail" which was parked nearby. In Manchzhuriya some advertizing banners fell down.

The storm water drain did not work proprely and water streams formed in some streets in the city. In the street Uritskaya near monument "Rostok" water level was so high that it got into car saloons. Motors of many cars died out and they should be towed.

In the center of the city, near the crossroads of street Surskaya and Chekhova a branch of the tree fell down and broke a window of passing by passenger bus №89. Fortunately, nobody was injured in the accident.
