In the Penza region the inspector of traffic police was condemned for a bribe of 500 roubles

Penza, 5 August 2011. PenzaNews. Narovchatsky district court of the Penza region convicted the former inspector of propagation of traffic police of regional department of Internal Affairs Petr Oshkin for getting a bribe.

According to the senior assistant to the public prosecutor of the Penza region to Tatyana Ostrovskaya, Peter Oshkin was in a group of immediate reaction and driving a patrol car stopped "VAZ-21144" for infringement of a high-speed mode on June, 3rd.

She said: "On the request of the driver not to make it answerable Oshkin demanded 600 roubles. The infringer gave of 500 roubles for the specified illegal inactivity, however after reception of money Peter Oshkin was detained".

The court convicted the inspector in accordance with item 290 of part 3 of the criminal code of Russian Federation and appointed punishment in the form of 3 years of iconditional mprisonment with a trial period of 2 years.

Besides, the condemned must pay the penalty, 40 times bigger than a bribe was — 20 thousand rubles.
