Penza, 8 August 2011. PenzaNews. Bessonovsky district court of the Penza region passed sentence upon a local resident who was in alcohol intoxication and used violence concerning the police officer of the district department of Internal Affairs. It wasn't threatening life or health.

The press-service of Bessonovsky district court said: "In June the senior lieutenant of police arrived to one of the houses of Bessonovsky area for suppression of made administrative offense. The malefactor, realizing that the police officer fulfilled his functions of public order maintenance, was dissatisfied with his lawful actions and torn off an epaulet of a uniform shirt of the policeman and hit his face. The condemned said obscene expressions and abuse during the violent acts".

During the session the man declared the petition for the sentence decision in a special order in connection with the consent with the charge shown to him.

The source in the court said: "He was imposed penalty of 1 year 6 months suspended prison sentence with a trial period of 1 year".
