Penza, 15 August 2011. PenzaNews. Four persons died and 14 got injuries in the road accidents which happened on the territory of the Penza region last weekend.

According to the press-service of regional government of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on Saturday, on August, 13th, the driver of motor vehicle "Opel" ran into two pedestrians going along the road in the street Merenjasheva in Penza. As a result one of them died on site, the second one was hospitalized with craniocereberal trauma and bruises.

The press-service said: "Two pedestrians suffered on August, 13th in the settlement Sura of Nikolsky area. The driver of a motor vehicle "VAZ-2112" brought down 18-year-old girl and 16-year-old young man. The girl was hospitalized with craniocereberal trauma and the closed crisis of the left humeral bone. The teenager died on site".

Besides, the driver and the passenger of two cars which overturned in a ditch died in Kolyshlejsky area and in Kuznetsk.

The press-service said: "3 motorcyclists, 4 drivers of the car, 3 passengers and 2 pedestrians got various traumas in road accidents last weekend".
