Double murder was revealed in the Penza region

Penza, 26 August 2011. PenzaNews. 28-year-old resident of village Ust'-Atmis of Kamensky area of the Penza region was accused of murder of 51-year-old man and 45-year-old woman. According to the investigators, the drunk young man came to his acquaintance and knifed him owing to jealousy.

Vice senior assistant of communications with mass-media of the head of the department of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation in the Penza region Maria Orlova said: "Besides, the malefactor knifed more than 16 times the woman who was in a room. Victims died on the site because of many wounds".

She added that at the moment of commission of crime the acquaintance of the murderer entered the apartment and tried to stop the malefactor, however she got one knife blow and ran out.

Maria Orlova said: "Besides, the accused had a fight with one more man who was in the apartment. The young knifed him not less than 10 times and hit him with a frying pan then the victim fainted".

According to her, the malefactor disappeared from the site of crime, having stolen gold pieces of jewellery and mobile phones for a total sum of more than 19 thousand rubles.

Maria Orlova said: "Thanks to medical aid the girl and the man survived. The malefactor was arrested in some hours".

Now the criminal case was sent to the court for trial procedure.
